Annual awards, hosted by the British Red Cross, highlighting exceptional reporting of asylum and refugee issues in the Scottish press. Presented in association with the Scottish Refugee Council and the National Union of Journalists. Booking is essential.

To help kick things off, Glasgow-based pop folksters Admiral Fallow join singer-songwriter Karine Polwart and former Arab Strap man Malcolm Middleton for an evening of uplifting, celebratory, musical good times. Proceeds go to Scottish Refugee Council and British Red Cross.

RoadBlock Run (formerly Urbanathlon) returns with another race filled with obstacles for runners to negotiate in aid of Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland. Prizes for fastest males, females and teams, as well as a special prize for runners in fancy dress.

Not for the faint hearted – teams take part in an action-packed day including a 16-mile walk (or run) from Drymen to Callander then a 39-mile cycle to Kenmore. A party and feast await the intrepid participants upon their finish. Teams should include four people and each team member is asked to raise a minimum of £350.

Enjoy some hot soup as you gather round the Guy. Live music, games and raffle, with all proceeds going to charity.

The young pupils(ages 3–18) of Susan Diane School of Dance put on a show that spans ballet, modern, jazz and tap. Proceeds go to Florence Nightingale Hospice.

A regular tribute night for The Smiths and Morrissey, with a proud fan club atmosphere and aesthetic, uninhibited dancing and more daffs/gladioli than you can shake a stick at. All proceeds raised go to charity.
