Deep Fried Film Festival

Lanarkshire's very own film festival returns for its sixth year, with programmes of locally submitted shorts, UK and international features, and a whole day of free workshops for budding filmmakers. This year the festival is supporting the NSPCC.

The Scribbler's Picnic Music Festival and Funday

A music and fun festival for all ages aimed at family entertainment and raising money for cancer charities. Last year's line-up included the Oasis tribute band Stop the Clocks, Ryan School of Irish Dancing, Tipping Point and many others, with details of 2014's line-up forthcoming.
