Books, "Stirling"

An innovative festival drawing on Scotland's love of the literary macabre and celebrating crime writing by bringing together leading Scottish and international writers, showcasing debut voices and encouraging new writers. The festival is an annual event complementing Stirling Library’s own Off the Page festival.

The Professor Of Biological Sciences from Stirling University discusses his look A Sting In The Tale, which considers the urgent plight of the bumblebee and what can be done to stem the decline.

Now in its eighth year, this local festival offers a wide range of authors and speakers for adults and children of all ages, as well as How To Get Published, which gives budding local authors advice on how to get published. Past line-ups have included some of the the bigger names in the Scottish literary scene.
