Faclan: The Hebridean Book Festival

This book fest on Britain's Western cusp is lucky enough to call An Lanntair (Gaelic for 'the lantern') arts centre in Stornoway home. Scottish International Storytelling Festival

The 2012 edition of the festival that began as a celebration of oral folk tale traditions continues to spread its influence across the country, with many events taking place far from the festival's spiritual home at the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
