FyneFest 2012

Located on a working farm an hour outside Glasgow, FyneFest is strongly focused on the local side of food, drink and music. Food comes from the likes of Winston Churchill Venison and Loch Fyne Oysters, with plans for a hog roast in 2012, and beer comes from both the farm's own brewery (Fyne Ales) and microbreweries around the UK.

MHOR Festival

A huge array of activities are on offer at this Jubilee weekend festival, themed half around 'A Very British Carry On' and half 'A Right Old Highland Fling'. ScotFest

A one-day celebration of homeland food and drink, craft, design and live music. You can nibble your way around the food fair, with samples of regional produce from Galloway Fudge to Arbroath Smokies. The craft fair sells a range of products from handmade cards to woodcarvings, while there's live music throughout the day.

Dumfries Folk 'n Ale Festival

Bringing together two of Scotland's finest exports, the cheekily named Folk'n'Ale festival infuses the erstwhile CAMRA Beer Festival with music and song from around the country. As well as over 50 cask ales being sold in bars around Dumfries, there's a street folk concert, a busking competition and several music sessions in the pubs themselves.
