NYOS Summer Concert

Garry Walker conducts Scotland's hottest orchestral talent in a performance of music by Britten, Bruch and Shostakovich. With violinist Jennifer Pike who won the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition.

She was only 12 years old when she claimed the BBC Young Musician of the Year title. A Proms debut followed just three years later and she is also the first classical artist to win, in January of this year, the South Bank Show Breakthrough Artist Award.
