Word: University Of Aberdeen Writers' Festival
This decade-old festival hosts a packed weekend of readings, debates, music, exhibits, workshops, film screenings and creative workshops for adults and children, involving more than 100 authors, poets, musicians, actors, artists, thinkers and media personalities. It combines an international scope with a celebration of Scottish heritage.
