I Am Cuba (Soy Cuba)
Rare chance to see the film the great Russian theatre director Mikheil Kalatozishvili and the brilliant poet Yevgeni Yevtushenko made together along with writer Enrique Pineda Barnet. The film is a dramatisation of the conditions that led up to the 1959 Cuban revolution. A classic, by any measurement that is justifiably worshipped by many filmmakers including Scorsese.
