Perth's Arts Festival with performers from far and wide presenting a full programme of music, opera, comedy, drama. Highlights for 2010 include The English Touring Opera performing 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', The Moscow State Symphony Orchestra with Igor Tchetuev (piano) & Pavel Kogan, The Halle Orchestra and Alison Balsom (trumpet) & Edward Gardner (conductor). Perth Festival of the Arts

Perth Festival of the Arts is an annual 11 day festival.

Founded in 1972 the Festival covers a wide range of artforms from classical music and opera to rock, jazz, dance and visual art. The Festival takes place in Perth Concert Hall, Perth Theatre and St John's Kirk.

Some of the highlights in 2010 will include

• Don Pasquale" by Donizetti - English Touring Opera
• The Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart - English Touring Opera
• A Mid Summer Night's Dream" by Britten - English Touring Opera
• The Moscow State Symphony Orchestra & Igor Tchetuev (piano) & Pavel Kogan
• Mr McFall's Chamber Tour with Michael Marra
• The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain
• The BBC Singers - Live Broadcast Radio 3
• Tommy Smith, Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, Tam White- "Rhapsody in Blue
• Perth Art Trail
• Kit and the Widow
• The Hallé Orchestra, Alison Balsom (trumpet) & Edward Gardner (conductor)

Many more shows to be announced including rock concerts, stand-up comedy, a ceilidh, drama, children’s show and more classical events. Daily week day concerts by Perth & Kinross Schools.

Full brochure will be available in March 2010. Booking opens at the end of March.
