ETERNAL LIGHT TOUR 2008
After a record-breaking season in London last year, Rambert Dance Company returns to Edinburgh with a brand new programme, including a Scottish première.
Artistic Director Mark Baldwin's major new production, Eternal Light, will be performed for the first time in Scotland, set to a brand new score by composer Howard Goodall, played and sung live. The evening also includes the hugely athletic Anatomica #3 by André Gingras, and a revival of acclaimed British choreographer Siobhan Davies' most popular and endearing work, Carnival of the Animals, set to Saint-Saëns' score of the same name.
The Company believes in the power of live music to enrich the senses and London Musici, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, superbly enhances the Rambert experience.
