The first ever Summer Isles Festival in Achiltibuie, started by local musician, Mairearad Green is going to be one to remember. With headline acts like, Niteworks spearheading the new wave of Celtic Dance floor sounds, leading the Scottish nu-folk revolution, Findlay Napier and the Bar Room Mountaineers, amongst some traditional Gaelic song and some ceilidh dancing, not to mention the local artists and food on offer, there will be something for everybody to enjoy.
