A free concert of music by contemporary German composers, with the UK premiere of Reimann's Nine Pieces for Orchestra and the Scottish premieres of Henze's Symphony No 8 and Pintscher's Reflections on Narcissus, featuring Joshua Roman (cello). Matthias Pintscher himself conducts. As a post-concert treat, Roman will give a coda recital of Bach's Cello Suite No 3.
