Pennyblack Music and The WIckerman Festival are proud to present an evening of great music in the heart of Glasgow.

Headlining the evening is Dublin-based Duncan Maitland. Duncan’s first album, Lullabies for the Twenty-First Century has been wowing critics since its release in 2011, and he will be playing this year’s Wickerman festival. In a career featuring spells with influential Irish power-pop outfit Pugwash and the critically acclaimed Picture House, Duncan has excelled in superbly-crafted, melodic pop-rock.

Also featured on the bill are Edinburgh rockers The Cathode Ray. Fresh from the release of their self-titled debut, the group have been delighting audiences in the capital with their edgy post-punk sound.

The line-up for the evening is completed by solo sets from Roy Moller and Nicola Black. Glasgow-based Roy is a long-term Belle and Sebastian collaborator, and has recently released his third LP, The Singing’s Getting Better. Described by BBC6 Music’s Marc Riley as 'Scotland’s best-kept secret,' Moller is a veteran of the Glasgow scene and his psychedelic-tinged sound has garnered great reviews and airplay. Hailing from Galloway, Nicola has been delighting audiences from Alaska to New South Wales, and performed a triumphant set at last year’s Wickerman. Her unique blend of folk, rock and melodic pop, coupled with a massive voice, make her live performances truly memorable. Playing solo, or as a member of rock outfit Quirkus, Nicola has released two albums and will be again gracing the stage at this year’s festival.

Each ticket purchased will be entered into a raffle on the evening to win a pair of tickets for this year’s Wickerman Festival.
