Intensive three week course for those who are passionate about film-making, and who want to develop their understanding and skills in the industry. Suitable for beginners and those with previous experience. Ages 17+.

This three week intensive course is ideal for people age 17+ who have a passion for film making and want to develop their understanding of the various processes and skills involved in the industry.
By the end of the course you should have:
- gained knowledge of industry standard film production techniques
- taken part in a creative process from inception to finished film
- acquired an understanding of the process of idea and project development
- experienced working in a collaborative and supportive environment
This course will take you through all of the steps required to produce a two minute short film and allow you to experience the skills required in this highly competitive sector. The course is designed to accommodate those who have never picked up a camera before as well as those who have had previous experience but might like to develop their skills in specific areas.
The course is about hands-on film making, but at its core is a thread of critical analysis and self evaluation. This will encourage you to interrogate all of the steps in the film making process as you move towards a completed film.
You will work with Royal Conservatoire staff as well as leading industry professionals in a variety of situations and locations.
