American Idiot
26 Oct 2012Bold, flashy adaptation of Green Day's concept album
American Idiot is a bit of a hard sell, too clean cut for punk fans, too scuzzy for lovers of musicals. Which is a shame as it brings a freshness to the form that is a world away from other jukebox musicals such as Mamma Mia! and We Will Rock You. It’s…
Green Day's American Idiot - a musical rock opera

What a great musical. From start to finish, the show was amazing. The cast were incredible - had great voices and energy. I am not the biggest Green Day fan but I was surprised at how many songs I knew and would have enjoyed it even if I didn't know any. American Idiot is loud, sexy, sassy and really good fun. Go and see it!!!
