The Warp and Weft of Life: Weaver Craft 500
To celebrate the 500th anniversary of Dundee's Weaver Craft, Dundee Heritage Trust is putting on a major temporary exhibition at Verdant Works. As one of the famous 'Nine Trades of Dundee', the Weaver Craft has always played an important role in the life of the city. The exhibition will form part of a yearlong programme of celebrations across Dundee marking this special anniversary.
There are fantastic events and exhibitions happening all over the country during the Year of Creative Scotland. Look out for exciting new initiatives to complement a fantastic and enhanced, year-round cultural programme that shows off our creativity at its best – contemporary, international and reflecting the joy that a vibrant cultural life brings to our communities.
