A City of Ladies: Edinburgh
A special event to mark International Women's Day, inspired by Christine de Pizan's The Book of the City of Ladies, with talks looking at Edinburgh's valiant medical women of past and present. Special topics for focus include the women of the Royal College of Surgeons, and women's experiences in warfare.
