Tribute to Venus Carmichael present: Venus Alone
Slowly but surely, word is beginning to spread about Venus Carmichael. A one hit wonder from Arbroath with late 60s folk-rock band Lickety Split, Venus' own songs tell tales of love and loss, shot through with wit and compassion.
Come and hear her tribute band play some previously unreleased material, with further instalments of her life story read by Writers’ Bloc regulars Helen Jackson and Kirsti Wishart.
