Stand-Up for Britannia

Stan Laurel's debut in 1906 took place at the Britannia. It didn't go exactly to plan as the audience groaned at his jokes and when he tried to leave he ripped his suit on the stage furniture, but a start is a start. Thanks to his memorable appearance there, the Britannia hosts the Stan Laurel Cup and invites the freshest in stand-up to compete for it in his honour.

We don't have details of any future performances, if you know of some please let us know.
