Scottish Opera: Opera Highlights
Scottish Opera brings highlights of its repertoire to the byways of Scotland, allowing those in more remote arias to experience the pleasure of highly trained singers making a lot of noise in Italian. This year's programme features, besides excerpts from Carmen, Don Giovanni and Madame Butterfly, arias from lesser-staged pieces such as Rimsky-Korsakov's Sadko and Britten's hardly-ever-performed Paul Bunyan, plus a new work by Gareth Williams, Dance 'til the Sun Sets. With Marcus Farnsworth, Riccardo Simonetti, Anita Watson, Rosie Aldridge, Robert Anthony Gardiner and Susannah Wapshott.
We don't have details of any future performances, if you know of some please let us know.
