Meet the Artist: John Neilson

As part of our focus on ‘The Image’ for 2012 StAnza has invited John Neilson, a lettercarver and lettering designer from North Wales, to take up residence in the Byre Theatre Garden for the festival weekend. Come and watch as he carves a piece of poetry into stone letter by letter before your eyes as the events roll on and the poets pass by. Earlier work is exhibited in an exhibition over the StAnza weekend, Versed in Stone, in the Preservation Trust Museum Garden (see separate listing). Part of StAnza.
