Border Crossing: Simon Barraclough & Gill Andrews

Border Crossing: Simon Barraclough & Gill Andrews

Brought up in Huddersfield, Simon Barraclough moved south to London and his first collection Los Alamos Mon Amour (Salt) was praised for its cinematic fluency and its poems about the 'restless modernity' of city life. In his new collection, Neptune Blue, he has set his sights skyward. Former London lawyer Gill Andrews is from Lancashire and currently lives in Edinburgh. Her first pamphlet, The Thief, has been published by HappenStance Press. She was shortlisted for the Picador prize in 2010 and for the Edwin Morgan Prize in 2011. Part of StAnza: Scotland's International Poetry Festival.
