Poetry Café Breakfast: Watch This Space: Gerry Cambridge, Andrew Roberts, Rozalie Hirs & Helen Ivory

To discuss why the way a poem is presented – on the page or elsewhere – can make a difference to both the reader's understanding and their enjoyment, we bring together poet and typesetter Gerry Cambridge, Andrew Roberts, who works on the Poetry Beyond Text: Vision, Text & Cognition project, Dutch text composer Rozalie Hirs and poet and artist Helen Ivory to discuss everything which affects how a poem looks and is perceived – fonts, layout and poetic form, from formal to free verse to concrete and visual poetry, as well as book design and cover art. Start your festival day by joining this lively and informal discussion over coffee and pastries. Presented with the support of the Dutch Foundation for Literature, Kingarroch at the Byre and Fisher & Donaldson. Part of StAnza: Scotland's International Poetry Festival.

Text supplied by third party.

We don't have details of any future performances, if you know of some please let us know.
