The Museum of the University of St Andrews (MUSA) displays some of the treasures from the University's historic collections, including three spectacular medieval maces, seventy silver archery medals, a rare 16th century astrolabe, and a host of fascinating objects relating to life and learning at Scotland’s oldest University. The museum has four galleries, a 'Learning Loft' and a viewing terrace with panoramic views over St Andrews Bay. These Musing@MUSA sessions provide short insights into some of the Museum's fascinating artefacts about which participants are encouraged to write their own poems. Numbers are limited so to ensure you can participate, email email@example.com to book a place, or visit the Festival Desk at the Byre Theatre to sign up for a slot. Those participating in the sessions are encouraged to send in copies of completed poems for possible display in MUSA. Free entry and disabled access throughout. Presented in partnership with MUSA (the Museum of the University of St Andrews). Part of StAnza: Scotland's International Poetry Festival.
