Poetry Centre Stage: Michael S Roberts & Kwame Dawes

The first of the Centre Stage evening performances features two poets who have been greatly influenced by music. Michael Symmons Roberts has collaborated with Scottish composer James Macmillan and his poetry has been described as 'intense and sensual explorations of the moment.' Kwame Dawes was brought up in Jamaica, and his poetry evokes the rhythms of the island and the spirit of Bob Marley.   Part of StAnza: Scotland's International Poetry Festival.
