RBS Talks - Vicky Featherstone

In Conversation : Matthew Hollis

In Conversation : Matthew Hollis

At the centre of Matthew Hollis's biography, Now All Roads Lead to France: The Last Years of Edward Thomas (Faber, 2011), is the poet's friendship with Robert Frost and their association with 'the Dymock Poets'. The author talks to Scotsman critic and journalist Joyce McMillan about how Frost encouraged Thomas to become a poet and how, in turn, the Englishman inspired the American to write some of his most memorable poems, including 'The Road Not Taken'. Part of StAnza: Scotland's International Poetry Festival.
