Ekphrasis: The Art of Stealing: Kwame Dawes

The workshop will focus on one important stimulant for good poetry – artwork – to explore the function of the image as a way of freezing experience in language. Using a range of artwork, participants will generate drafts of poems and explore ways to expand one's poetic vocabulary through dialogue with other art forms.   Presented in partnership with Fife Council Libraries, Arts, Museums & Archives.
