TweedLove Bike Festival

A friendly bike festival for all levels, with emphasis on enjoyment on and off the wheels. Routes around the beautiful and cycle-friendly Tweed valley include ascending and descending tracks, road cycling tours, pumping championships, downhill racing, the crowning of King and Queen of the Hill and a family ride through Peebles High Street. A night-time biking adventure lets you ride up into the hills at dusk and sleep under the stars, before rocketing along some trails in the morning light. Beginners are catered for with technical skills workshops and gentle introductions to trail-riding, and there are women-only rides and training sessions as well as fast and furious bike races for kids as young as two. Music, film screenings and short film and photography competitions are provided for recovery time, with the highlight for some being a gig with We Were Promised Jetpacks and special guests.
