Samhuinn
Marking the Celtic world's farewell to summer, the Samhuinn parade is the counterbalance to spring's Beltane celebrations. After a colourful parade down the Royal Mile, the performers enact the victory of the Horned God and the Winter Court with enough fire and extravagant costumes to ease the shortening of the days.
