Roger Ackling

Ackling has laid old wooden garden tools along one wall of the gallery, while elsewhere a piece of string is held in place with halves of wooden clothes pegs. Only close inspection reveals markings made by a magnifying glass and the sun; possibly a statement that all destruction, creative or otherwise, is a function of nature.
