This event takes place only hours before the exact anniversary of the Titanic disaster. The SFO has announced that it'll include a special arrangement of "Nearer my God to Thee" in tribute to the Titanic's string orchestra. There's also a new slow air "John M Mason" in tribute to the SFO's founder, and a new arrangement of Macpherson's Farewell for Orchestra and Pipe Band. Should be a good night out.
