Rambert Dance Company: Seven for a Secret Tour
Rambert Artistic Director Mark Baldwin's new work Seven for a secret, never to be told in a triple bill with Paul Taylor's 'Roses' and Henrietta Horn's 'Cardoon Club'.

Oh dear....what a disappointment! There is much better dance out there than this. The choreography in the first piece worked well only fleetingly, and just didn't gel the rest of the time. The second piece "Roses" was uninspired and pedestrian. Couples danced languidly in pairs and compelled me to consider whether I really wanted to return after the interval. The final piece was the best - but honestly - I'd give the evening a 5/10....and that was only because I had good company. Save your money for something better :)
