The Lang Siege
Meet Sir William Kirkcaldy. During the troubled reign of Mary Queen of Scots, he dithered for a long time before finally coming down on Mary's side, which with hindsight was a colossal blunder. In the famous Lang Siege, he attempted to hold out the Castle against hostile forces and carried out major reconstruction of the defences, none of which succeeded in holding off the besiegers. Sir William ended up swinging for his convictions, but here he tells his story.
We don't have details of any future performances, if you know of some please let us know.
