RSNO: Au Revoir Stéphane
Stéphane Denève bids farewell to the Royal Scottish National Orchestra with a great big musical party, featuring MacMillan's rip-roaring Britannia, Richard Strauss's Till Eulenspiegel (the D clarinet part is comedy gold, folks) and Ravel's ravishing Daphnis et Chloé.

As Stéphane Denève bids farewell to Scotland, he gathers the whole RSNO family together for a roof-raising musical party. James MacMillan throws three centuries of British music into one riotous knees-up, and Richard Strauss jests with us in his humorous tone poem. Maurice Ravel, meanwhile, dreams of ancient Greece in the most sumptuous score he ever wrote. Expect gorgeous colours, ravishing sounds and unbounded emotion as we mark the end of a very special era in Scottish music.
