Scottish Chamber Orchestra: Biss Plays Mozart
A whole evening in the key of D, which might conceivably be tough for those who have perfect pitch but which the rest of us may find curiously refreshing: Dvořák's Czech Suite is full of lyrical warmth, Mozart's Piano Concerto No 20 K 466 was one of Beethoven's favourites, and Beethoven's own 2Symphony No 22 is one of his more unruly beasts, with its turbulent last movement that's said to be a picture in sound of Beethoven's stomach trouble. Jakub Hrusa conducts and Jonathan Biss is the piano soloist.
We don't have details of any future performances, if you know of some please let us know.
