When we think of Glasgow, don't we think of it as a holy site of free-flowing energy and spirituality? Not so much, no. But Glaswegians are fighting back: urban poetry group Seeds of Thought have started to give impromptu recitals on public transport, and performance artist Kate E Deeming does dances based on other people's wishes. This is your chance to interact with them meaningfully. Part of the Festival of Museums.

Saturday 14th May 2011

Re-think the way you experience galleries with the diverse poetry group Seeds of Thought and internationally recognised performance artist Kate E Deeming. Seeds of Thought will fill the space with free-flowing words and energy, and educate on the cultural background of Zimbabwean instruments. Kate E., Glasgow’s Morning Dancer, will dance for people’s wishes and link her modern-day movements with the ago-old tradition of expressing prayers through dance. There will be plenty of opportunity for interaction, from dancing with Kate E. to chatting with a Mbira musician.
