The Searchers have survived multiple line-up changes as well as a schism of People's Front of Judea-style bitterness, the echoes of which twang across the internet to this day. Longest-lasting original member John McNally leads the band that gave us 'Needles and Pins' and 'Sweets for my Sweet'.
This year the Searchers – John McNally, Frank Allen, Spencer James and Scott Ottaway – are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their remarkable career.
Singing classic hits such as ‘Sweet for my Sweet’, ‘Needles and Pins’, 'Don’t Throw your Love Away’, ‘Sugar and Spice’, and ‘When You Walk in the Room’, they guarantee an excellent night of entertainment.
The show will feature anecdotes alongside all the sing-a-long hits, B-sides, album recordings and a selection of other well-known favourites.
