Admiral Fallow's music has been described as 'orchestral folk pop'. The band has an unusual instrumental make up with clarinet, flute and occasional accordion augmenting the traditional indie set up of guitars, keyboards, bass and drums. They also have two great vocalists in Louis Abbott and Sarah Hayes who sing songs of youth, teenage angst, boisterous nights out and even gun crime in America

The band finished 2012 very strongly. December saw them headlining a stage at Edinburgh's Hogmanay street party, selling out Glasgow Barrowland in a memorable homecoming gig and being presented with Creative Scotland's Music Award 2012. The year had begun with the first of two extensive UK tours and had seen the release of their critically acclaimed second album Tree Bursts In Snow (Uncut 8/10, Q ★★★★). The band also managed two weeks in Europe and four weeks in North America.

What time is breakfast? I’m pretty good at getting up for breakfast; my appetite is fierce and I’d happily wolf down a full roast dinner at 7am. Tea or coffee? I love both tea and coffee very much. I think most people would agree that tea is a more…
