Breakin' Convention 2012: International Festival Of Hip Hop Dance Theatre

Sadler's Wells plays host to the annual international festival of hip hop dance theatre. 2010 marks the seventh year of the festival, which features an array of dance including lockers, poppers, b-boys/girls and house dancers. The festival is hosted by artistic director and MC Jonzi D, and attracts dancers from all over the world. As well as the impressive dancers showcasing their skills, a series of workshops will be taking place throughout the three day event. The workshops are delivered by artists, dancers and musicians including DJ crew The En4cers who will be spinning breakbeat and funk, plus artists Electric Boogaloos who will be showcasing their live graffiti art in the building. The success of street dance in recent years has added more focus to Breakin' Convention, which also run events all year round and will be touring in late 2010. There is bound to be something for lovers of dance at the festival featuring acts from the UK and abroad.
