Electronica and disco from the London dance act (born Nicholas Bracegirdle) taking to the stage to perform songs from the hits collection, The Best Of Chicane: 1996-2009. The compilation features the summer smash hit, Poppiholla which reached number seven in the UK singles chart. The best of album was re-released to include the single. The single is a cover version of Icelandic rock act, Sigur Ros's song Hoppipolla, Chicane's version is instrumental and replaces the P with a H in the title. Chicane's music is strongly influenced by the sounds of Ibiza, with many of the tracks being mixed as a chilled and ambient version and a more dance orientated club version. Chicane's biggest hits include Don't Give Up with Bryan Adams (which became the dance acts biggest chart hit to date reaching number one in the UK singles chart) and Saltwater with Maire Brennan. Chicane has also produced and written material for other artist's records including Bryan Adams and Cher.
