Jenny Eclair: Old Dog, New Tricks

Jenny Eclair is the only female comedian to win the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. An energetic performer with a generally loud and abrasive personality audiences and critics often find her likened to Marmite, you either love her or you hate her. As well as performing on stage as part of her stand-up show she has also appeared in plays including the Vagina Monologues, Steaming Mum's The Word, The Andy Warhol Syndrome and Grumpy Old Women. Comedy was not always Jenny's first love, having started out in the 1980s as a punk poet, and later joining a band called Cathy La Creme And The Rum Babies. It was after the career change that Jenny changed her name from Hargreaves to Eclair and she has been delicious ever since. In the end, Jenny did not pursue her career as a poet, but she has enjoyed success as the author of Camberwell Beauty, Having A Lovely Time and The Book Of Bad Behaviour.

We don't have details of any future performances, if you know of some please let us know.
