Dan Antopolski: Turn Of The Century

The triple Perrier nominated comic presents his seventh stand-up show. Antopolski began his stand-up career in 1997, performing at small London venues. His brand of surreal humour and flights of fancy has won him critical acclaim, with his first Fringe solo show entitled Second Coming in 2001 receiving the first of those Perrier nominations. The same year he also took part in a group show Lee Mack's New Bits, with Lee Mack and Catherine Tate. This was followed in 2001 by the awkwardly titled Antopolski 2000, The Presence in 2002, The Dinks in 2003 - which also featured Tony Law and Craig Campbell, A Whim Away in 2004, Penetrating Gaze in 2008 and Silent But Deadly in 2009. TV credits include BBC1's The Stand Up Show, Sky One's Time Gentleman Please, ITV2's Comedy Cuts and a stand-out role in BBC2 sitcom Hyperdrive, as the quirky Technical Officer Jeffers. Radio appearances include Radio 4's This Is My Mark and Radio 2's Out To Lunch and The Dan Antopolski show. Antopolski also boasts a split-second film credit as Jesus in 2003's The Da Vinci Code.
