Cancer Bats

The Canadian four-piece from Toronto mix hardcore, southern metal and punk rock into a lethal rock'n'roll explosion. With hundreds of shows, and many epic tours under their belts, Cancer Bats are eager to party in every city, town and metropolis that will have them. After winning the Favourite Hardcore/Metal Group Of The Year at the 2007 Indie Awards and Best Independent Video at the 2007 MuchMusic Video Awards, the world has started to take notice of Canada's favourite flying mammals. Their new studio release Bears, Mayors, Scraps & Bones audiences all of over the UK will be crying out for more as the Cancer Bats do not disappoint. The group formed in 2004 and soon began producing music in 2005 and released the odd demo. Cancer Bats were determined to get their faces and their voices out there and toured extensively throughout 2006 with bands such as Every Time I Die, Nora, Alexisonfire, Haste the Day, It Dies Today, Comeback Kid, A Life Once Lost, The Bled, Misery Signals and This Is Hell.
