The 156th Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race
Oxford aims to defend its crown over the winding four mile course between Putney Bridge and Chiswick Bridge as thousands of spectators line the river banks, cheering on the two crews. ITV1 screens the event live and there are big screens erected in Bishops Park, Fulham and Furnival Gardens, Hammersmith.
