Peter Andre
Peter Andre started his life in the UK, moving to Australia with his family as a young boy. He listened to soul, jazz, reggae and Motown as a child, taking inspiration from the likes of Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. By the time he hit his teens he had co-written Dream A Little with his brother. This first song made it onto Peter Andre's eponymous debut album. Despite being a prolific songwriter, it took relentless hard work and persistence to get to where he is today. After eventually being accepted onto the TV talent contest New Faces Andre was promptly offered a recording contract, and thus began his career in the limelight. As a buff and perfectly tanned star, he became the poster boy for a generation of young girls in the mid-nineties. His soulful pop gained him numerous hits, with a UK number one spot for Flava following his number two position for the reggae-tinted crowd pleaser Mysterious Girl. Peter Andre then disappeared from our collective consciousness for a number of years, until 2004 when he appeared on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. He met Katie Price on the show, and the rest became history. A global superstar yet again, he has successfully re-launched his musical career. His 2009 chart hit Revelation showcased a mature approach to songwriting and won him new admirers alongside his previous fanbase. A sell out spring tour was to follow in 2010, and Andre is now firmly back on the scene, playing at arenas all over the world.
