Streetland

Community festival and street party in Glasgow's Govanhill, currently one of those exciting areas with a newly burgeoning creative scene. The third edition is presided over by a giant puppet mascot, intriguingly named 'The Phantom Stag', who will lead visitors between events including cinema, music and street theatre, exhibitions and sound art installations. Also planned for the weekend are a mobile soup kitchen, a wandering storyteller, a dance workshop, some specially commissioned bunting, and lots more.
