For a great family day out over the Easter Weekend, visit Scotland’s number one visitor attraction and enjoy a series of fun-filled and interactive shows.
- See amazing magic tricks performed by Kramis the mystical wizard
- Enjoy spectacular juggling from our zany jester
- Giggle at Sir Hugo Sofboiled and Baron Hardegg in their panto style comedy show
- Have a go at Renaissance dance with Danse Ecosse
- Get up close and personal with beautiful birds of prey
Admission to all events is included in the admission price to Edinburgh Castle.
£14 adults, £11 Conc, £8.20 child, under 5’s are free.
Also while at the castle why not join us for a special Easter lunch in the Queen Anne Restaurant or sample the Easter themed culinary delights in our new Redcoat café.
What’s more, there is a chance to bag a fantastic prize when you enter Roary's Expl-roar-er Quiz. Bring your little explorers along to our Easter Weekend and test their knowledge of Edinburgh Castle with the help of our stewards – no child goes home empty-handed!
This interesting, fact-finding mission will bring Edinburgh Castle to life whilst making every child’s visit an interactive experience. Our on-site stewards are on hand to help and provide pointers (so don’t be afraid to ask their advice!). From counting how many stairs there are in the Lang Stairs to Royal babies born in Edinburgh Castle, Roary’s Expl-roar-er quiz is a must during the Easter break.
Roary’s Expl-roar-er quiz also provides one lucky winner with a chance to win a giant Roary toy. Complete your contact details on the quiz and you might be the lucky winner!
