The Cunning Little Vixen
Leos Janácek's The Cunning Little Vixen is performed by the RSAMD in collaboration with Scottish Opera. Janácek composed the opera in 1924, adapting the libretto from a daily comic that appeared in a Czech newspaper. The story, which has been compared to a Czech Midsummer Night's Dream, takes place in a forest, set among gypsies, poachers, woodsmen and the animals of the woodland.
We don't have details of any future performances, if you know of some please let us know.
