The Lancaster based poet and master of delicate and tender verse makes a welcome return to StAnza to read along side another Scottish poet whose distinctive voice is receiving huge recognition since the publication of his superb recent collection, Grain. Both have been invited to read by Brian Johnstone as poets he did not wish to step down as Festival Director without inviting back to the festival.
