The Byre Theatre, Abbey Street – Auditorium | £9.00/£7.00

StAnza presents a rare opportunity to spend an evening in the company of Ireland’s Nobel laureate poet, Seamus Heaney. A poet of range and depth who is acclaimed the world over, Seamus Heaney is by far the best known poet writing today in English. He is also a renowned translator. His last collection, 'District and Circle', won the T. S. Eliot Prize for 2006, and he has recently published a translation of selected poems by the fifteenth-century Scots Makar, Robert Henryson. We are delighted and honoured to welcome him back to St Andrews.
